T. N. Rao School believes in imparting values, enthusiasm, and creativity to seek excellence through high-quality educational endeavours. The CBSE school is divided into two large buildings:- Saraswati and Sharda. The school is located just beside Saurashtra University and is surrounded by a lush green environment.

We include art in every aspect of our teaching. At T. N. Rao, we understand that art and art forms such as music, dance and drama have played a crucial role in uplifting society. Hence, we provide different opportunities for our students to carve a niche for themselves. Art also helps to develop individuals in different cultures and backgrounds. Learning through art also helps in interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, observational skills, and developing inquisitiveness. Cultural Heritage Program

We celebrate various festivals and events throughout the year. The school’s annual function exhibits different folk songs and cultures through dance, skits, singing songs, and so on. Every year, the school organises an exhibition, also revered as ‘Dhamalmasti’, where students can bring their parents and students exhibit different items they made, such as book covers, bookmarks, imitation jewellery, etc. The school also celebrates special days of great importance to the nation, such as Republic Day, Independence Day, World Environment Day, Yoga Day, Health Day, Grandparents Day, etc.

Parent Teacher Meeting

We regularly conduct a parents-teachers meeting to discuss the student’s performance with their parents. On this day, we call parent’s to the school and provide overall feedback about their performance. We also conduct a term completion event known as Abhivyakti where students are facilitated with the certification of their grades after completion of their term.

Assembly

Mornings are blissful at T. N. Rao school. Every morning, we conduct a school assembly to offer gratitude towards the almighty through shlokas and prayers. We conduct special health programs such as yoga, meditation and PT every week. We also conduct birthday celebrations and honour student’s special performance throughout the year. The morning assembly ends with the ‘National Anthem’ sung by the staff and students.
